C. Raymond Hunt Associates continues to be involved in the design and development of mass-produced recreational and commercial boats built by both domestic and foreign manufacturers. The services we bring to these manufacturers include naval architecture, market research, production and facility design, tooling design and sourcing, materials specification and supply. Some clients contract for the entire array, others for selected services.

Manufacturers who have worked with Hunt often express special satisfaction in our ability to avoid development surprises. Our experience pays off when our designs hit the water and work as intended.

In addition to complete design projects, Hunt is qualified to offer consulting services on a broad array of marine disciplines, from redesign of existing craft, repowering projects and interior re-arrangements to long-term studies and reports.

Hunt is also involved in specialized vessel design for commercial clients, government agencies and the military. The stability and high performance of our hulls is especially attractive for harbor pilots, port security, national defense, and rescue services. We are experienced in designing to the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Lloyds and other classification societies.
