Ray Hunt Design High-Efficiency V Hull:
A new hull design will deliver efficient performance beyond displacement speeds, into the semi-planing region, while not demanding the high power and fuel consumption needed for full planing performance. Double digit cruising speed is the target.

The new Ray Hunt Design High-Efficiency V Hull is a development of the Deep-V hull Ray Hunt conceived 60 years ago which is still the standard for modern planing hulls. Our new hull shares many of the characteristics and the excellent rough water performance and handling of the Deep-V, but it is optimized to run in the semi-planing region and offers better balance and efficiency than so called fast displacement hulls.
