Hunt Design and Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding collaborated to design and engineer this 61 foot dive boat to the specific requirements of the New York Police Department. It provides fast response anywhere on the city's many waterways, and with only 3 ft. draft can go places conventional craft cannot. It carries an extensive array of dive gear and support systems including a 15 ft. inflatable, sonar, and dive compressor. A hydraulic dive platform lowers to water level at the transom. Rescue wells are built into the hull amidships.

All-weather capability is enhanced by a large divers' room on deck, a deck heat system, and decontamination shower. A full suite of communications and navigation electronics is installed. A unique transom bow was designed to allow quick boarding of vessels and disembarking against sea walls and piers.
